rooney should be charged retrospectively for diving, non?

Well done to GoonerTalk.com, from whom the following freeze framed photo shows Rooney clearly going to ground BEFORE Almunia made contact.

Take a look at Rooney's left knee, it is NO WHERE NEAR Almunia, and is more than 90% on it's way to the turf.

Isn't that proof of diving, and if so, how different is this to the Eduardo incident?

Now, anyone want to have a go at guessing how much the press will make of this one?

I think ul find u can't compare the two incidents with Rooney and Eduardo and Ebue for that matter, clearly there was contact if u wind the video on a bit more.eduardo and ebue clearly dived to try and con the referee and in the case of eduardo it worked but not for ebue who got what he deserved and could have been worse for him

Fucking disgraceful, That Rooney cunt, if eduardo is charged then rooney must be charged!!!!, downright hypocritical on Platini's part if he isn't, fuck Uefa, fuck FA they lack balls to charge rooney. And hopefully Lorik Cana can teach Fletcher a thing or 2 about the meaning of ruthless tackles, send Fletcher on a permanent stretcher!!
