eduardo's back: what a player, what a warrior
Eduardo marked his return to first team football with an impressive brace against Cardiff City in the FA Cup fourth round, second leg replay at the Emirates.
And how we have missed Dudu. Fifty-one weeks, Arsenal have had to do without the talent of a player of Eduardo's mettle.
Few non-Arsenal fans appreciate just how much of a negative impact the injury on Eduardo had on the rest of the team.
With even more players to come back from injury, including the likes of Walcott (5 days), Rosicky (three weeks, cough!) and Fabregas (8 weeks), it is looking more and more like it's going to be a strong run-in to the end of the season.
We are extremely unlikely to make any kind of dent on the premier league leaders, however with our pretty good record in games against the other top-4 clubs, I'm pretty certain that we will have something to say about who wins the league this year.
The Croatian-Brazilians return will provide the psychological boost that this team has been missing - with the 4-0 comprehensive win over Cardiff City, the current unbeaten run should hopefully spill over into the premiership, and into our final push for a top-4 place.
Welcome back Eduardo, you my friend, are a true warrior.
