Hi, my name is Kojodinho.
Err, no, not really - it's my pseudonym - but what does that matter?
talkingOfArsenal.com is a blog that attempts to look at Arsenal from a perspective that is not the usual. I don't usually write pre- or post-match reports as I think there are many other blogs that do a fantastic job of those.
I prefer to write about the tactics, the mindset, the politics, the strategy, the mind games, and the philosophy amongst other things. I might analyse the odd opposing team before or after a game, or even contemplate a crisis at a rival club, but I try to keep these to a minimum. I always endeavour to be honest, truthful and balanced <cough> (well that last one, as best as I can).
why, somewhere in amongst the postings, you're bound to come across something you'll like, but you're equally as likely to read something you'll find objectionable. whatever, I write about the best ever football club in the world, the club I love, and the finest purveyor of the beautiful game as it was originally envisaged!
I love the fact that we play the most exciting football on the planet. I love the fact that we have an intelligent manager (some would even say 'genius') who works miracles by creating superstars, rather than paying inflated prices for over-hyped, "in-it-for-the-money" pre-ma donnas who would go to another club at the drop-of-a-hat or a few dollars.
I love the fact that our players are all pacy athletes who would give short-burst athletes a solid run for their money. I love the fact that our manager cares for our players, and treats them like adults, and not kids. I love the fact that our Manager is not xenophobic, and that Arsenal with all it's nationalities is probably the most cosmopolitan club in the world. I love the fact that we always play to our strengths, and not the weaknesses of our opponents. I love the technical and footballing principles of the club.
I love Arsenal Football Club.
